Happy New Year!

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Today we welcomed back the students and it was great to see their smiling faces. A new year means new projects are getting started in our morning class.

Gym- We have just started our new floorball unit. Students are very excited to play the closest sport we have to hockey this year!

Health- We started a Kindness Project in our class today. As your child how we are showing kindness to other students in our class. We started with two students today and will be doing two more every Health class. We will also be focusing on cyber-bullying and how to be safe online.

Science- This week we will be starting our pulley and gears unit. Students have been asked to start thinking about where we see pulleys and gears in our everyday lives.

Art- Students will be starting an Artist research project on Wednesday. All information for this project will be found on Hapara. Students will have 3 classes to work on their projects. Any work not finished in those 3 classes will be done at home. Students will get their artist they are researching when we start Wednesday.

I'm super excited to get started on these units with the students. As always feel free to reach out through your child's agenda if you have any questions.

That is where I will be posting any announcements or updates during the Online Learning section of our year. If you could please follow the instructions and sign up it will be much easier to contact each other during these times. I will also be reaching out by phone starting tomorrow to try and connect with all families. As of now there is no mandatory work for students to do.
