Habitat Test

The Habitat test will be held next Wednesday (December 11). Every science block until then we will start with a quick video review of some of the concepts, then the students will have the rest of the class to either catch up on work or study. A review sheet was given out today but will stay at the school in their science books until Friday so they can study at the school. On Friday they will be sent home for the weekend. Feel free to encourage studying during the week by asking them to review what was discussed in class that day and how humans are impacting different habitats.

January 20-24

This week we have a short but busy week in the grade 4 class. Art- Wednesday is our last day to work on our Artist project in class before they are due next week. Presentations are next Wednesday and all information is on Hapara. Any work not done by Wednesday becomes homework. Science- This week we are researching pulley systems. Students will be choosing one of their choice to research on Wednesday and write about. Gym- We are starting Handball this week. It was a game not many students are familiar with. After our first day they are loving learning the rules. It helps when there's a magic number (3) that fits in to all the rules. Health- We are continuing our Kindness Project and discussing anti-bullying and online safety. The students have done a great job reviewing tips on how to stay safe online. The Kindness Project is about halfway done now. Once all students have had a chance to complete it I will be printing off the photos for students to take home.
